THE LAND WE BREATHE

In a world that no longer moves at nature’s pace, three individuals struggle to preserve their land, traditions, and way of life from the pressures of climate collapse, bureaucracy, and mass tourism. Set in Dalmatia, Croatia, the film tells a story of three characters - a forester, a teenage scientist, and a shepherd are outsiders united by a deep connection to the land. Their shared struggle is to protect a vanishing way of life as their bond is tested by the pressures of climate change, mass tourism, and rural exodus. Their stories reveal the fragile relationship between humans and nature, showing that in this fragile world, nothing and no one exists in isolation.
